Team-work for the faster achievement of objectives
In-depth discussions and joint development of solutions are a way of life for the Grossmann & Berger investment team. The experienced investment specialists and our other staff have formed the same team for several years, always working for our clients.

Christoph Ringleben
Always on the hunt
“Quietness is strength“, is the motto of Christoph Ringleben, Managing Director of the Investment business since the beginning of 2005. Quiet and attentive listening as well as well-directed questioning are the strengths of this MBA who has been with Grossmann & Berger since 1993. He has become passionate about ideas and strategies. The experience he gained in a responsible position for a major German bank stand him in good stead in his work. Even when off duty, his hobby of hunting and stalking leads him also in search of interesting land and property. But sometimes all he is following is a small white ball onto the green, as the Ringleben family has devoted itself to golf in a big way.

Peter Hartwig
Work must also be fun
“Experience is the number one factor in being able to provide clients with reliable and meaningful advice“ emphasises Peter Hartwig. What makes this job interesting and attractive for him, even after 25 years work in the property sector, is the never-ending succession of new situations and challenges. This experienced member of the Grossmann & Berger team, with his qualifications in the property and residential business, is an authorised signatory (Prokurist) which means he has the right to contract on behalf of his company. If, in spite of his passion for his work, he feels he needs to get away from the stress and bustle of the office, you will find him not far away from one form of sport or another.

Bastian Baldauf
Strategies, just as on the chess board
Even when he was at school, Bastian Baldauf, who now has qualifications in banking, was certain that he would select a career in the investment sector. What appeals to him about property is that “strategies can be developed for every property, just as in chess, my favourite hobby”. What he most likes about Grossmann & Berger since he joined the company in 1998 is its entrepreneurial thinking and successful team-work. He was appointed a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in December 2004.

Rainer Hirschler
An eye for detail
Rainer Hirschler has been involved with property for over 25 years. For most of this time he was buying and selling for an institutional investor. This experienced sharpened his eye for detail. He is sure that “A property can only be successfully marketed if even the smallest details are fully researched and settled“. He is very appreciative of the team-working, the lively discussions on projects and the good rapport between the long-serving members of the staff of Grossmann & Berger. He recharges his batteries with long walks in the Alster valley and cycling trips through the Walddörfer region.

Cordula Kawälde
Always exciting
“Tackling new tasks every day, developing ideas and solutions for changing demands“ is what Cordula Kawälde likes about her job. She has qualifications in residential and general property as well as a degree in property management from the Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft and joined Grossmann & Berger in 2000. Since the beginning of 2006 she has been able to use the enjoyment she gains from meeting people in her work as an investment broker. When not at work, she enjoys doing something very different – she plays the piano and flute and likes cooking. Most recently she has discovered golf.

Joachim Klasen
Thinking outside the box
“The world is becoming smaller“ is what Joachim Klasen discovers every day in his dealings with Grossmann & Berger’s international clients. He has been involved with commercial property for 16 years and during this time he has advised his clients, developed, valued, managed, bought and sold properties for them. The depth and variety of his experience help him understand the growing requirements of international clients. What little leisure time he has is spent with this wife and two children; they ensure that he stays fit and healthy.

Axel Steinbrinker
Endurance, as in the marathon
“My ambition was always both to use my abilities as a salesman and also to put the goal-oriented and structured thinking of a lawyer to good use“ is how Axel Steinbrinker, a qualified lawyer, explains his decision to go into the property sector. He is fascinated by the sheer range of the issues in the investment business and the rapid changes in the market. He is a passionate exponent of the triathlon and the marathon and he brings the endurance demanded by these sports to the many projects that require this same quality.
