Building work is now starting on the “Maximilian 15” project, located on the street for which it is named in Berlin-Lichtenberg. The developer, gsp Gesellschaft für Städtebau und Projektentwicklung Berlin mbH, asked the Berlin office of Grossmann & Berger to take charge of selling the apartments - more than a quarter of the units have already been taken.
This new building will stand on the corner of Maximilianstrasse and Rupprechtstrasse; 36 of the 51 one to four-bedroom apartments are still available. The project is on a quiet residential street in the Weitling neighbourhood of Lichtenberg and both Rummelsburg Lake and the adjacent district of Friedrichshain are within walking distance. The six-storey new building is being constructed to meet KfW-70 energy efficiency standards. The façade combines white rendering with brickwork elements and large windows. At the rear of the building there is a green courtyard.
Almost all the apartments, ranging in size from 42 to 137 m², have a balcony or a terrace. The interior finishings can be chosen from a range of designs. The apartments are on sale for between 125,000 and 449,000 € and the buyer pays no agency commission. Underground parking spots are also available; prices start at 22,500 €. Planned completion date is the end of 2015.
