Outdoor specialist Globetrotter has found the location for its new city concept. Next March the company, which is headquartered in Hamburg, plans to open its two-storey concept store occupying some 1,150 m² at the “Girardet Hoefe”, Gerhofstrasse 19 in Hamburg.
The “Girardet Hoefe” is a courtyard ensemble of five office and commercial buildings set between Gänsemarkt and Poststrasse in Hamburg’s Neustadt (New Town) district.
The complex belongs to a Hamburg family office and is so-called for the Wilhelm Girardet publishing house that was established on this site in the 1880s and 90s. Over recent years it has been refurbished and new buildings added, for example the one on Gerhofstrasse 19.
The office and commercial block directly abuts the neighbouring structure, is six stories high and features a two-storey high shop window extending the entire width of the building.
Grossmann & Berger, a member of
German Property Partners (GPP), brokered this rental agreement for a retail space in Hamburg.
