The Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Deutschland)
AG, a subsidiary of the Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Switzerland) AG, registered office Zürich, opened its Hamburg office in summer 2019. Grossmann & Berger, a member of German Property Partners
(GPP), identified a suitable site for the bank on Neuer Wall. The Hamburg subsidiary of this private bank, which is part of the Sparkasse Financial Group, has taken the entire 620 m² of available office space in the commercial building at Neuer Wall 30, moving in on 1st July 2019. This brings to five the number of cities in which Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft Group has an office.
KBNK, a firm of architects, drew up the plans for the refurbishment of this historic “counting house” and in 2003 it was redeveloped to meet current standards. Set next to Bleichenfleet Canal, the front of the building stands out with its grey sandstone façade framing the large windows that overlook Neuer Wall. In 2003 the Hamburg association of architects and engineers (AVI) honoured the refurbishment with the “Building of the Year” award. The office and business building is owned by an asset leasing company.
