For its company headquarters IOI Oleo GmbH, a subsidiary company of the IOI Corp., Malaysia, has taken some 600 m² of office space in a building on Herrengraben Canal in the Neustadt district of Hamburg. IOI Oleo will move into the rooms on the second floor of this refurbished building at Herrengraben 30/31 this summer.
The company, which produces and distributes oleo-chemical specialities for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and engineering industries, emerged in February 2016 out of the sale of the Cremer Oleo GmbH & Co. KG, an industrial business owned by Cremer, a family corporation from Hamburg, to Malaysia’s IOI Group. IOI Oleo’s holdings include two works in Witten and Wittenberge.
Hamburg project developer Cogiton recently extensively refurbished the office block on the Herrengraben Canal. The work included gutting the building, fitting new windows, adding balconies/loggias, and creating walk-on outside areas plus a roof terrace of some 200 m².
