An exclusive new build, the “Stadtnest
” project, is set to offer homes in one of Hamburg’s most central locations. Ten apartments for private buyers are being built a short walk from the Outer Alster Lake in Uhlenhorst district. They may be purchased through Grossmann & Berger.
Centrally located in a vibrant quarter
The new “Stadtnest” development is to be built at Uhlenhorster Weg 29. Previously, the site was occupied by a block of garages, which has been demolished. In addition to the Outer Alster, a small lake (Kuhmühlenteich) and many canals are also close by, offering scope for leisure and recreation. In the immediate proximity there are numerous cafés, restaurants and shops. “New build apartments in such a central part of Hamburg do not often come onto the market,” says Garlef Kaché, head of the new build sector at Grossmann & Berger. Planned completion date is the summer of 2020.
Small number of units and a congenial atmosphere
With its clear lines and brickwork façade, the “Stadtnest” blends well with its historic surroundings. The ten residential units are spread over two full-sized stories and one penthouse level. Around the building a garden area is planned offering private patios and a communal section. The two to three-room apartments on the upper levels have balconies, the penthouse units will have roof patios. “Stadtnest” units have an airy open-plan lay-out with many windows reaching from floor to ceiling. Strip parquet flooring made of oak in combination with tiles in various tones of beige and grey combine to create a homely feeling. Sizes range from 62 m² to 102 m² of living area and prices start at €470,000, rising to €950,000.
