A new building project is growing on a brownfield site in Buchholz on a street called Schaftrift. The site is to be developed with twelve houses - duplexes, row houses and small apartment blocks - and the units are on sale via the property services provider Grossmann & Berger. The project name given to this new-building complex in Buchholz, postal address Schaftrift 15-67, is “Heidehüser”.
The property is in the north-east of Buchholz, the biggest town in the administrative district of Harburg, set between the city centre and open fields.
The twelve new buildings are aligned in two rows along the west part of the road; the houses are cubist in design, have two regular stories and a penthouse and are finished in brick and white render façades. They are being built to KfW 70 energy efficiency standards as defined in the energy saving regulation EnEV 2014, and are supplied by a CHP plant. Moreover, it is planned to include two playgrounds on the site.
The two multi-family buildings contain a total of 16 easily accessible apartments for private ownership. Plans also include five duplexes and five rows of houses with a total of six middle houses and ten end houses. Depending on the unit chosen, the dwellings have balconies, patios or roof terraces. To complete the picture, the development has 55 parking spots or optional carports.
The dwellings range in size from two rooms to four plus two half rooms, with floor space of between 55 and 134 m²; they are on sale for between €165,000 and €335,000. A car parking space can be purchased for €4,500, a carport for €7,500.
Construction work has already started, completion is scheduled for the spring of 2017.
