B&L Group is erecting a new residential complex in Berlin’s “Hansaviertel”. The project is called “OASIS BERLIN” and comprises five buildings with a total of 101 apartments for purchase. Grossmann & Berger Berlin are handling the sale of units.
The “Hansaviertel” is in Tiergarten district, between the River Spree and the Victory Column (Siegessäule). “Hansaviertel” was rebuilt from 1955 to 1960 according to plans by famous architects and is now one of the world’s largest protected historic monuments of the Bauhaus style.
The five buildings in the new complex are spread over a 4,000-square-metre landscaped site on the edge of the River Spree. The property stands on the corner of Bachstrasse and Altonaer Strasse.
The single highrise “OASIS Tower” is fifteen stories high and visible beyond the borders of the site, with space for 68 dwellings. Its façade is divided by grey, vertical bands of concrete and features both transparent and opaque glass panels and glazed corner loggias. The two-storey lobby of the residential complex is located in the “OASIS Tower” and offers a part-time concierge service and access to the other buildings.
Directly adjoining the “OASIS Tower” is the “OASIS Apartment House.” Behind a three-storey-high façade with floor to ceiling windows are nine privately owned studio and one-bedroom apartments. On the roof a terrace for the use of the residents offers a view of the community garden with space for urban gardening.
The three “OASIS Garden Houses” are free-standing town villas set in staggered formation; they have three to five stories and a total of 25 dwellings. The façade stands out for its metal-framed French windows, sliding doors to the balconies/patios and light coloured panels of natural stone.
Other amenities on-site or in the buildings include a raised sun deck, a canoe boathouse, children’s playground and fitness room.
The apartments for sale in the project range from one to five rooms with living space between 30 and 230 m². The apartments go on sale from €140,000 upwards.
There will be 104 spaces in the underground car park costing €33,000 each. Additionally there are charging stations for electric cars and bikes.
Planned construction start for the “OASIS BERLIN” is this summer, with completion scheduled for the summer of 2018.
