The new build project “Jarre 58°”
, being erected on a roughly 4,000 m² plot of land at Jarrestrasse 58 in Hamburg’s Jarrestadt neighbourhood, is celebrating its roofing ceremony today. Grossmann & Berger has been asked to sell the 64 new-build apartments.
The project is located between Jarrestrasse, Grossheidestrasse and the Osterbek Canal in the district of Winterhude, close to Kampnagel cultural centre, the “Stadtpark” municipal park and the “Aussenalster” Lake. The building complex is accessed through a gateway on Jarrestrasse.
The existing buildings on Jarrestrasse and Grossheidestrasse shield the building from the road and open up space for a quiet, green interior courtyard. This also serves as the way into the underground garage with 64 car parking spaces and the same number of charging points for electric cars.
The new build is planned as an energy efficient KfW 70 house, with five stories plus penthouse floor and is accessed via five main doors. The light-coloured façade reflects the architecture of the Jarrestadt with its brick-work pattern, rounded corners, floor to ceiling windows and balcony glazing, some of which is of translucent glass.
Potential buyers of apartments in “Jarre 58°” can choose between two, three or four rooms offering living space ranging from 61 to 169 m².
The ground floor apartments on the southwest side have patios, the others have balconies, loggias or roof terraces, some of which overlook the Osterbek Canal.
The new-build apartments are offered for sale at prices ranging from €435,000 to €1,615,000; an underground parking space may be bought for between €32,000 and €39,500.
The site is being rehabilitated in cooperation with the Environment Ministry, the shell is almost finished. Completion is scheduled for autumn 2018.
