People with a sweet tooth now have a fresh destination on the island of Sylt, the
Sylter Bonscherei. This specialist shop, which also features a coffee garden and children’s play area, has opened at Hafenstrasse 4, near the harbour of Rantum. Occupying 90 square metres, the shop offers a large selection of hand-made sweets, plus a variety of other confectionery and souvenirs. Its special highlight is the integrated transparent factory, which allows visitors to watch while the sweets are being made. Weekly workshops provide children and adults an opportunity to try their hand at making sweets.
The owner, Melanie Jacobsen, consulted Grossmann & Berger, a member of
German Property Partners (GPP), during her search for suitable premises on this island in the North Sea. The house, with a total rentable area of 202 m², is privately owned.
