Units in “Rehmkoppel 41” now selling

Country-style homes in Poppenbüttel

Press release | HH-Poppenbüttel

Buyers of new apartments in “Rehmkoppel 41” in Poppenbüttel will feel as if they are living in the countryside. This energy efficient new build with its wooden façade unites sustainable construction with superior residential qualities. As broker, Grossmann & Berger has now started the sales process. Completion is scheduled for late 2020.

Natural architecture and modern fit-out
“Rehmkoppel 41” offers 14 two to four-room apartments with living space ranging from 55 to 125 m², distributed over two full size stories and a penthouse floor. The salient feature of the architecture is its use of natural products. Apart from the back-vented cladding of grooved timber, the apartments have wood and aluminium windows with insulating glass, thus combining cosy interiors with a weather proofed exterior. The open-plan living and dining areas lead onto generously dimensioned loggias and roof terraces. Some of the ground floor apartments also have their own small gardens. A solar thermal system on the roof supplies environment-friendly heating. Energy efficiency also features in the decision to install ventilation systems with heat recovery. The new build uses only 55% of the energy a comparable conventional new construction would require and thus meets the KfW 55 standard.

Inside the building the high quality materials used to fit out the apartments offer superior levels of comfort. Living areas are fitted with oak parquet flooring and under-floor heating; for an additional charge a smart home control system is available. Large format tiles will be used to cover walls and floors in the bathrooms, which have walk-in showers and sanitary appliances from brand-name manufacturers. The apartments are on sale at prices starting from €375,000.

Green surroundings and good infrastructure
This new build development is located in Poppenbüttel district, on the border with Wellingsbüttel. It is a desirable location, combining a rural setting with good infrastructure and numerous places to shop, such as the nearby Wellingsbüttel market and the Alstertal shopping centre. A diversified range of leisure activities can also be found nearby, for example those seeking nature can travel the Alsterwanderweg (walking trail). And various tennis, hockey and fitness clubs are close by. Hamburg city centre is easy to reach by local train, with S-bahn services from Wellingsbüttel or Poppenbüttel stations.
