As a Sales Support Officer at Grossmann & Berger, you are the most important communication interface between our clients, business partners and employees. You support a team comprising several Property Advisers either in our headquarters on Bleichenbrücke or locally in one of our branch offices.
You must therefore be very service oriented, well organised and make a self-confident, courteous impression. You ensure that your team’s organisational processes run smoothly and provide our Property Advisers with administrative support. Your approach to work is characterised by initiative, independence and cooperativeness, because team spirit is valued highly at Grossmann & Berger. You react in a flexible and discreet manner to the diverse and fast-changing requests and tasks brought to you by colleagues and business partners.
Property expertise and experience are advantageous, but not essential. However, detailed knowledge of MS Office programmes and German spelling are indispensable. You must also have high quality standards and great attention to detail, as you are directly involved in maintaining our property data and producing brochures.
There are some additional requirements that vary according to sales area (commercial lettings, commercial investment, residential):
Given the range of our portfolios and the international profile of our clients, intercultural competence is important in our Commercial Investment division. This also requires sound written and spoken English skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills are necessary across all divisions – Offices, Retail, Industrial/Warehouses/logistics – for coordinating Property Advisers’ appointments, organising viewings of several properties, and handling the required documents. English language skills are advantageous in all three divisions due to our client structure.
Residential Sales Support Officers generally work in our branch offices (with the exception of Sales Support Officers employed in the Residential Projects and Apartment Buildings divisions and back office). As you are responsible for the general management of the branch office, you must have excellent organisational skills. Furthermore, as a Sales Support Officer in one of our branch offices, you represent Grossmann & Berger.
In the back office of the Residential division, you coordinate and organise all processes related to the branch offices and are responsible for special themes that are not specific to any particular branch office. You are also responsible for organisational project work. Strong numerical skills are a prerequisite.
Knowledge of Hamburg’s residential areas is necessary in all divisions. An aptitude for marketing would also be helpful, as you will be involved in the division’s own marketing campaigns.
