MASH Steak lets 900 m²
First German restaurant to be opened at Holzhafen
Hamburg | 22.01.2015
MASH Steak GmbH originated in Denmark and is set to expand further. The company already has outlets in Copenhagen, London and Warsaw and is now opening up the German market by setting up a restaurant in Hamburg. The steak house chain is renting some 900 m² of space in the “Holzhafen Terrassen” - a multi-tenant new-build owned by B&L Real Estate GmbH. It is planned to open the new restaurant on the ground floor of Grosse Elbstrasse 148-150 on August 15. Grossmann & Berger GmbH acted as broker.
The restaurant chain was founded in 2009 and combines American steak house traditions with Danish design. The “Holzhafen Terrassen” project developed by B&L Real Estate GmbH from Hamburg closes the last gap in the line of buildings on the north side of the Grosse Elbstrasse. The building was designed by Hamburg architects Kunst+Herbert; it offers shop and restaurant space on the ground floor, a loft office and two floors of classic office suites. It is sited on a plot of land measuring 1,400 m², directly opposite the “Holzhafen West” office block and the “Kristall”, an exclusive apartment high-rise.
