A new quarter is being planned in West Hamburg, a smaller cousin to the new “Central Altona”, the “roof” on the A7 motorway and the “Othmarscher Höfen”. A 16,000 m² site bounded by Stresemannstrasse, Stahltwiete, Bahrenfelder Steindamm and Celsiusweg is being developed as a car-free project - “Stahltwiete Hamburg” - that offers a mix of apartment blocks, town houses and commercial properties.
Apartments in the new building number 3, postal address Stahltwiete 15 a-d, are now available for purchase via Grossmann & Berger.
The new build project is planned to meet KfW energy efficiency class 70 and will offer 51 apartments on six floors served by elevator. The brick architecture echoes the design and shapes of the revitalized industrial complexes of Ottensen and Bahrenfeld. The apartments have open-plan living and dining areas and separate storage spaces plus one to three bedrooms; the units range in size between 55 and 132 m². The loggias, balconies or (roof) terraces overlook the gardens laid out around the building. The apartments are on sale for between 214,000 and 663,000 €. In addition there are 35 spaces in the underground car park, each costing 23,500 €.
Planned project completion is spring 2016.
